Tonight I bake my madness a birthday cake
Because even the insomniacs aren’t awake
Tonight I burn my home while Beethoven plays
So tomorrow I can live like I died yesterday, live like i died yesterday!

took the needle out of my arm about a year ago today, and every day since then i’ve been taking the needle out of my brain. so when i’m staring down at my hands i can’t explain just what it is that i’m thinking of, except thank god that all my veins have to pump is my blood.
My theme song for this weekend. Going to wash some poppy seeds and drown my emptiness with mind numbing happiness.
Check out one of my favorite local Baltimore songwriters from back in the day. She is no longer making music, but in my opinion, her songs are unrecognized classics. This track is from the album Blue Skies Forever and is available for purchase on CD Baby here: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/mprankster2
Pikachunes - Nervous (by lilchiefrecords)
All you have to do is write a bass line and then everybody wants to know your name.
Just as every cop is a criminal and all the sinners saints
As heads is tails
Just call me Lucifer
‘Cause I’m in need of some restraint
So if you meet me
Have some courtesy, have some sympathy, and some taste
Use all your well-learned politesse or I’ll lay your soul to waste
Pleased to meet you, hope you guessed my name
But what’s puzzling you is the nature of my game
